1. About these terms
These terms apply to the Blockshot website and the Blockshot application (“the service”) provided by Matúš Kukuča, company ID (IČO) 09837558, Janského 2505/109, 155 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic (“we”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. Contact: info@blockshot.app.
2. Early access
Blockshot is in early access. Access is by invitation and free during early access. What we describe on our website works today; we are still fine-tuning, so features may change, be added or be removed, and we fix reported errors quickly. The service is provided “as is”, without a guaranteed availability and with possible errors. Keep your own copies of important schedules - you can download any schedule as a Blockshot file or a .msd at any time. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before early access ends or before paid plans start, and you will not be charged without agreeing to it first.
Student licence (after early access ends). Students will use Blockshot free for one year at a time. We verify student status by your school email address; if your school does not give you one, you can send us a confirmation of study, which we delete as soon as it is checked (we keep only the date your status is verified until). You renew the licence by confirming your school email again or with a new confirmation. The student licence is only for school and other non-commercial projects - not for scheduling paid productions. Exports and printouts from a student licence carry the note “Student licence - school projects only”.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old, or of legal age where you live if that is higher, to create an account and use Blockshot.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for what happens under your account. One account is for one person. Tell us straight away if you suspect someone else is using it.
4. Your content
Schedules, scripts and other material you create or upload remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, process and display them so that the service works for you. You confirm that you have the right to upload them - including scripts under a confidentiality agreement and personal data of cast and crew - and that doing so does not break any law or agreement. We do not look into your content except when you ask us to (for example to fix a problem) or when the law requires it.
5. Acceptable use
Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, access other users’ data, use it to store unlawful content, or resell it without our permission.
6. Movie Magic and other trademarks
Movie Magic is a trademark of Entertainment Partners. Blockshot is not affiliated with or endorsed by Entertainment Partners; it reads and writes .msd files for compatibility. We cannot guarantee that every file opens or exports without differences, so check important schedules in the original program.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit or lost data arising from the use of Blockshot during early access. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
8. Ending
You can stop using the service at any time. You can download your cloud data and delete your account yourself in the app, under Profile › Account and data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; where possible we will warn you first and give you the chance to download your data.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; we will announce important changes in advance in the app or by email. These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
